I am a huge fan of the original Prince of Persia trilogy, and when I heard about this
game I was a
little worried that they would change to much of what made the original
games great, and I was right, the gameplay has been completely destroyed, platforming is awkward do to too may actions being mapped to the same buttons, combat is tedious and unenjoyable, it's EXTREMELY repetitive, having to search around for light seeds just to advance the plot is stupid, and do to the fact that you can't really die the whole
game just feels like trial and error, and the new Prince character is completely unlikeable, while they messed up most of the
game it's got some good things going for it, the
voice acting is solid, the graphics are beautiful, and the ending does have interested
in seeing where the story goes from here, but I'm not sure if I want to pick up the next
game they come out with, this was a huge disappointment and isn't worthy to bear the Prince of Persia name.
In terms of the story, it is a
little (well quite a bit) clichéd and the

little cheap, especially the Sean Connery character.
The massive world to explore, the freedom to do whatever you want
in it, the
little efforts gone into character animation; practically every facet of this
game makes me want to inject it straight into my veins, and the newest trailer only accentuated that feeling, with first looks at the Goron and Zora races, official confirmation of fully - fledged
voice acting and a proper introduction to Zelda herself, who many fans have already sworn to protect because of how precious she is.
Add
in a Hollywood spy style of soundtrack, a touch of
voice acting and a plethora of sound effects and Splinter Cell is a decent enough
game, it just lacks a
little originality and smooth controls.
There's
little to no
voice acting in A Realm Reborn, understandable due to the sheer scale of the
game but it does take a
little away from the immersion.
While the original

If you can look beyond the graphics of yesteryear, the monotonous tones of the enemies, the poor
voice acting and the aimless grind to make you just a

in the
game.
For some reason, the
game is on two discs, even though there's very
little FMV or streamed music, and almost no
voice acting, other than dorky
little expressions that are yelled
in combat or exclaimed
in story scenes.
Because an all praising review is no fun, I do have to point out that some of the
voice acting in this
game is terrible, with fantasy stereotypes with
little depth running wild.
