If you follow me on any of my social channels (if not, you should immediately) then you'll probably know i've spent the weekend in Bruges with Jase, escaping the city for
a little weekend away.

away to Downieville, California, I was introduced to a great

Whether its the weather or the extra pounds i'm packing, I decided this
weekend it was about time I put the jeans
away for a day and opted for a
little more adventurous and more true to my usual style.
I thought the perfect weather this
weekend meant it was time to put the sweaters
away for good, mine are staying in my closet for a
little longer.
I was really excited to get
away for a long
weekend and spend a
little time relaxing and maybe getting around to working on some posts that didn't get posted last week.
We planned to go
away for the
weekend to a lovely countryside cottage with a gastro - pub, but unfortunately our
little one is quite ill.
But let's say you just got paid and while you know that you should transfer $ 500 to savings, you've also got that
weekend away next
weekend and you want to leave a
little extra in your checking account, just in case.
It was still a good week, just extremely busy with the curve balls that I was thrown and I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to this
weekend (again... not that I am wishing my life
away... less stress is just a
little more relaxing don't you think?).
