of God's love being enough for them and they are afraid to destroy their identity and
live for the Glory
of God.So, upon death, these souls realize that the physical
world was just a shadow
of God's love (the nature, food etc) and their own lies (violence, self love etc) and realize that love is their only need.They pursue it from other soul beings but are
hurt that there's only hate and self love.They are afraid to approach the light because they don't want to renounce their identity as they have not recognized God's love before.
I can not describe the depths
of despair I endured watching my family so
hurt by those who declared love for us.8 years on and the pain still
lives on and my faith is non existent!The church has grown and the pastor travels all over the
world preaching and being feted by everyone.He is now high up
in the G12 organisation doing very well thank you!!
Indeed, I would guess that idealism is the problem: whereas an atheist might be more likely to not
hurt others because he / she does not want to be
hurt (or
live in a
world like that), ideologies put a sort
of filter between people.
However much we admire his moral grandeur and accept the way
of life he presented, are we
in the last analysis merely temporary inhabitants
of a
world that offers us much that helps and much that
hurts, but a
world that cares nothing about us one way or the other?
If we really want to help the people
of God follow Jesus out into the
world, we need to put up big Exit signs on all our doors, and lead people out
of the building where we have them trapped and out where God can work
in and through their
lives to the
hurting people
of the
world.
I believe God still rides on the storm... that He speaks these maelstromic whispers to remind us that we
live in a fallen
world, and sin destroys the perfection He wants for us... that each disaster He does not prevent is an opportunity He provides for us to reflect His deep love and generosity toward each other, to the comfort and recovery
of the
hurting and surviving.
We have become way too much eyeball people as Christians assume that those who don't
live according to the way they do they are unsaved, we have created this judgemental relationship which
hurts peoples fellowship with God, there are no litmus tests for people that believe
in Jesus, which is why we are called to not judge others, and people use James 2:14, and 1 John's verse
of those who practices righteousness are righteous even though I think it's talking about earthly righteousness toward people that we as Christians should show because there is a lost
world out there that needs are help and these doctrines
of guilt, condemnation, anger, and judgement aren't helping
in fact they are doing the opposite, just like how
in James it's justification towards man.
So rather than try to guess at the motives
of these individuals, let me say this: We
live in a broken
world, and there is a lot
of hurt around identity, culture and history.
We can and should debate theology and doctrine, but we must never think that we are the infallible interpreters
of Scripture and determiners
of people's destiny, and should also remember that doctrine, as important as it is, becomes evil when debates and discussions about theology keep us from
living out the loving gospel
in tangible ways to a
hurting and dying
world.
If this country would start focusing on how to help one another instead
of to
hurt them our
world would be a much better place to
live... And just so everyone knows I did lose someone close to me
in 911 and at the same time 1
of my best friends are Muslim so it goes to show that 2 wrongs do not make a right!!!!
Wouldn't you want to
live in a
world where people were helping each other instead
of hurting them?
