Life is better
with patience &
kindness.
The fruits of the spirit — love, joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control — have no numerical values associated
with them, and
living like Jesus is not always popular.
And by contrast if we know that God is filled
with love and patience,
kindness and gentleness, joy and peace, faithfulness, goodness, and self - control then that changes us and it changes how we move through our
lives.
Keep talking about how real love requires freedom while extending
kindness and grace to those
with whom we disagree... because
living your theology is more important than arguing it.
One thing I found really encouraging about Wesley's story is that most of the pastors and professors in his
life appear to have responded to his coming out
with grace and
kindness rather than condemnation.

Living your
life with love and
kindness to others is to me the most important point.
We have agreed to not argue about doctrine or anything like that, but to read about Jesus and try to
live like him in our world,
