I'm so sorry to hear that, sadly the issue is that baking it as a
loaf tin just makes it
too thick and the mix was designed to cook as a
cake so it just wouldn't cook if it was that thick!

cake perfect for 2 - I made it once in a
loaf dish (didn't have a small
cake pan), and then I did it again and, of course, put it in a small
cake tin (but it was
too flat).

cake (LOL WHUT IS THAT) then go ahead and halve the recipe and bake it in an 8 × 4 ″ greased and parchment lined

I found these giant pound
cake cupcakes at Costco and used three of them, but a regular
loaf of pound
cake would work great,
too.
I use a bread /
loaf pan (the kind that you'd bake a pound
cake in, say, or banana bread)-- but you could use small ramekins and make several smaller rounds of cheez,
too.
The top came out rather browner than I would have liked, but luckily it was not overcooked inside and in fact had the perfect texture for a
loaf cake — moist but not
too crumbly.
