local birth groups so that I can continue to remain up to date on current birth practices and evidence - based research that will support my doula and childbirth education clients.

Once you have recovered from
birth and breastfeeding is established, join a
local breastfeeding support
group.
The WHO Global Strategy recognises that for breastfeeding to be successful mothers and families need the right support along the whole course of breastfeeding — from giving
birth in a Baby Friendly hospital, to going home to find skilled
local support from midwives, health visitors, GPs, and mother support
groups throughout their communities.

local birth network, a babywearing
group, postpartum support
