I fear the
worst for the Birmingham based club, with Villa unlikely to even match their sixth
place finish of last season, to which they finished above Liverpool, and could soon find themselves
in a spot of bother if they aren't careful, as O'Neill has bought wisely
in the past whenever funds have been made available, but his and Villa's luck may well run out sooner or later
in regards to
locating hidden gems.
Brazil is leading the way at the top of the CONMEBOL group with 27 points; Uruguay is sitting
in 2nd
place with 23 points, Ecuador is
located in the 3rd spot with 20 points, Chile is also tied with 20 points but with a
worse goal difference and the last qualifying spot is being occupied by Argentina with 19 points.
