I started pumping for 2 reasons; to make sure that my LO was getting enough milk, as he was slightly on the low birthweight side & I had to sit for 3 hrs while feeding and I had back pain due disc herniation which worsened owing to
the long feeding sessions.

long feeding sessions were just pacifying the baby, not actually feeding him.

long feeding sessions and your back and shoulders will thank you for being able to do it in a place where you can totally relax.

feeding session, check the positioning.

longer before you
feed / release.
