For children who no
longer nap, they should now be clocking the full 11 - 12 hours of sleep at
nighttime, so bedtime should reflect that based on their usual
wake - up time.
In most situations, babies will sleep peacefully for
longer periods of time before
nighttime waking when co sleeping is taking place.
Well, if you
wake your baby on a regular schedule throughout the day, say every three hours to eat, then let your baby sleep as
long as they want during the night, your baby will quickly learn that the time to be awake is during the day and
nighttime is for sleeping.
