I'm going to repeat what I said earlier... this team actively pursued a policy to undermine the relationship between the
fans and the best player
on this team... for all intent and purposes this is a traitorous act... so instead of spending money, which all pundits and
fans agreed was necessary in order to compete at the highest levels, this club was wasting
time and money trying to turn
fans against Sanchez
long before the end of the season (the real concerted effort started around the
time that Wenger benched him for the start of the Liverpool game)... for a team that pertains to be different, like a FAMILY, and constantly questions the tactics of it's opponents, to engage in such a treasonous act is deplorable
Fans have been asked to be patient for a
long time, and if the team isn't winning or at least entertaining, they choose other ways to spend hard - earned dollars, which inevitably leads to photos of empty seats
on the internet, and flight - tracking private planes between Raleigh and Quebec City, and expert opinions that hockey doesn't work in the South.
we've been patient with these guys and others for a very
long time now and there seems to be no improvement
on the pitch of play...
fans have always listed players they believe are not good to take the club to the next height but Mr potato head will continue to have faith till those guys retire from football without achieving anything for themselves.
Although many will suggest that Robson has a personal vendetta of sorts aimed squarely at the Grinch who stole soccer, that doesn't make his words any less truthful... such tactics are nothing new... in the U.S.this business practice has become so common that even the players regularly use the media to manipulate public opinion (LeBron James did likewise to rally public support for himself and away from his teammate, Kyrie Irving, who has asked to be traded)... whether for contract leverage or to rally support for or against certain players, this strategy can be incredibly effective at
times, but when it misses the mark it can be dangerously divisive... for a close - to - the - vest team like Arsenal to use such nefarious means to manufacture a wedge between the
fans and it's best player (again), is absolutely despicable... for the sanctimonious higher - ups who demand that it's players adhere to a certain protocol regarding information deemed «in house» or else to intentionally spread «fake» news or to provide certain outlets with privileged information for such purposes is pretty low indeed... no moral high ground here, just a big club pretending to be a small club so that they can continue to pull the wool over the eyes of a dedicated, albeit somewhat naive,
fan base... so not only does this club no give a shit about it's
fans, this clearly shows that clubs primary interests aren't even soccer related... for all intent and purposes Kroenke doesn't care if we're a soccer club or a tampon factory as
long as we continue to maximized his investment... stay woke people... great to see more and more people commenting
on the state of the franchise... this club needs to be held accountable for it's actions
The name of Francis Coquelin has been
on the lips of many an Arsenal
fan in recent weeks, especially since his disciplined and destructive performance at the heart of the Gunners midfield helped to produce our first big away win in a
long time.
Corrupted club have accepted this footballing buffoon for last 5 years... And serious
fans could see he was past his sell by date back then... as
long as their pockets are appropriately greased... What is so shocking is that after this recent string of results most serious clubs would have called
time on the man but apparently the ball is still in his court... Empty emirates is only way to change this sad state of a once great club

fans should stand together and demand more, put more pressure
on the board and the manger... This club is a top club and is not a 4th grade anymore... All those who are in UK should do something (protests, show banners, chants, boycott, whatever)... I know there are still
fans who support Wenger, but you also should demand more from Wenger, I assume you are discontent with the results and the transfer policy... Doing nothing, our 4th - place trophy is not even guaranteed...
All this has been coming for a
long time now, Arsene Wegner knows that the majority of the
fans want him out, and he refuses to leave, because Arsenal FC is the only club that would allow him that amount of
time, because he makes them loads of money, so as
long as he pleases the pay masters, why should he care about people who has no power, and like most big organisations they continue to shit
on us knowing full well that we are incapable of organising ourselves, so as
long as he's at this club I'll be WEGNER OUT.
And this cheap mentality of turning

Of course it would be silly to suggest that winning any game, cup or otherwise, isn't good for the club, but let's remember just how problematic FA Cup success has been for this club... I'm certainly not going to suggest I didn't enjoy seeing Arsenal win, I'm a
fan of this club first and foremost, but how bad are things when you find yourself secretly wishing that your own team lost so that just maybe real change would finally come... I resent this team for even making me feel such thoughts and it's going to take a lot of effort
on their part to earn my trust again... this club has treated the
fans so poorly that it has created an incredibly fragile and toxic environment, so much so that a «what have you done for me lately» mentality has emerged...
fans rise and fall depending
on the results of each game because we don't have faith in those in charge to make the necessary changes to personnel and tactics... each
time we win many
fans attack any dissenting voices and make unrealistic claims about the players, the manager and the potential for unprecedented success... every
time we lose the boo - birds run rampant, calling for heads to roll and predicting the worst... regardless of what side you fall
on, it's not your fault, both sides are simply overcompensating for the horrible state of affairs that have been percolating for several years... it's hard to take the
long view when those in charge have lied incessantly and refuse to take any responsibilities for their own actions... in the end, we are trapped by the same catch - 22 that ManU faced upon Fergie's exit... less fearful of maintaining the status quo than facing the unknown, which was validated, wrongly or rightly, by witnessing the difficulties they have faced during this transitory period... to be honest, the thing that scares me most is that this team has never prepared whatsoever for this eventuality, which considering our frugal nature and the way we have shunned many of our most revered former players is more than a little disconcerting
Your a

But Spurs and their
long suffering
fans will probably be happy about the recent comments from Campbell
on the current title race, reported by Metro, because he reckons it could be heading towards the first
time since Arsene Wenger took charge that the spuds finish above Arsenal in the Premier League table.
So goodbye Wenger and thanks for the ancient history glory days but most of us, - pires and Ken, being dinosaur type exceptions
on here and also the sweet, naive and ever water guzzling TY from Arsenal
fan TV — prefer living in the here and now and looking forward to the near future, for we are all a
long time dead, as our club has effectively been this last decade.
I'm also a Flyers

It seems a
long time ago now, but it was so painful for Arsenal
fans that I doubt I will ever forget the feeling as I watched the Gunners slump to a 2 - 0 defeat by West Ham
on the opening day of this season.
nice to see you crawl out of your hole just in
time to offer your 2 cents worth once again... unlike yourself I started following this team
long before Wenger arrived
on the scene and will continue to do so
long after he's gone... in his earlier years I admired the cerebral elements he brought to the EPL, which at that point was more brutish than beautiful, and I respected the seemingly tireless efforts of Arsene, Dein & staff to uncover and develop talent without sacrificing the product
on the field... likewise I appreciated that such a youthful manager wasn't afraid to bring strong personalities and / or world - class players into the fold without being fearful of how said players would potentially undermine and / or dilute his authority... unfortunately this all changed about 10 years ago and culminated in the removal of all our greatest players, both young and old, without any real replacements coming in... from Henry to RVP to Fabergas and Nasri, it was easy to see that this club was no
longer interested in competing at the highest levels... instead of being honest, minus the ridiculous claims regarding the new stadium, Wenger chose to side with management and in doing so became the «front man» for this corporation pretending to be a world - class soccer club... without the «front man» this organization would have been exposed numerous years earlier, so his presence was imperative if the facade was to continue... it's for this reason and more that I despise what this once great man and Kroenke has done to my beloved club... the gutless, shameful and manipulative way they have treated the
fans, like myself, is largely indefensible and this is why I felt it necessary to start offering my opinion in a public format... trust me, I resisted the temptation for many years but as
long as the same shit continues to exist I will voice my opinions and if you don't like it maybe you should look for a different team to pretend to follow
Of course teams can still sign injured players, Arsene Wenger did with Kim Kallstrom, however it seems that nobody wants to take a chance
on Debuchy and so perhaps Arsenal
fans will have to endure his
time at the club for just a little
longer.
Many Arsenal
fans may consider that Mohamed Elneny is a sort of panic buy brought
on by the injuries sustained to Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla, but I am sure that Wenger and his scouts would have had the Egyptian midfielder under observation for a
long long time before deciding to make an offer.
Due to not winning a trophy for such a
long period of
time, there is no way the EMOTION of most
fans will let them have a clear judgement
on the ability of Wenger as a coach.
I have always had a healthy respect for what Wenger has done for us over the years but this run of results is too much by a
long chalk and its
time that his competancy and the boards ambition was called into question by any of the
fan groups strong enough to make a difference, theres around 200 million comming into the club next season with the new BT sports deal and I am almost certain that this wont be spent
on the players we really need nor will it be used to lower season ticket prices, so where will this money go?
The news will surely go down badly with Arsenal
fans who will see the club miss out
on another
long -
time target, and with question marks still hanging over Wenger's future at the Emirates, they will want to see some serious moves made in the summer to ensure that they're competing for major honours next season.
At that
time fans expected a new era was being ushered in where Arsenal would not only compete to sign the world's best players but they would actually sign a number of them
on a consistent basis as part of a new
long term strategy.
I'm so sick of people telling those of us who are disgruntled
fans to relax and give this club
time to correct itself... for anyone who believes that taking a wait - and - see approach is appropriate at this juncture they should take a good
long look at themselves in the mirror because they are a big part of the problem... no other «big» club's
fans would stand for this shit for nearly as
long as we have... think about it, we've witnessed a changing of the guard at every major club in England, Spain, France and Germany in the last several years because those «big» clubs failed to live up to expectations (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, ManU, ManCity etc...)... for some reason, many
fans have become as fragile as our current manager, believing that there couldn't possibly be a suitable replacement, even though everyone of these clubs have found multiple replacements and still achieved far more than our club... this mindset has been created by an organization that has been milking it's
fans, telling countless lies (no world class players available) and lowering expectations every since they rolled out the biggest lie of all: that we couldn't spend because of the new stadium but once it was paid off we could compete with any team in the world... this organization is rotting from the inside out and if we don't demand that those in charge put soccer first this despicable behaviour won't end with Wenger's ridiculous 2 year contract... I think the real fear isn't that a suitable replacement doesn't exist, but that this organization is so money hungry and poorly mismanaged that we will sink even lower by choosing our next coach the same way they choose our players,
on the cheap... even so, we need to see what mustache will do if left to his own devices so he will have to show his true colours... only then can we purge this club and start anew
But I'm not stupid, Mustafi and Kos will likely make less mistakes in the
long run than the old partnership, esp as
time goes
on, but I still think some
fans need to cut Mert some slack for reasons I pointed too.
This was certainly a night to forget for Arsenal, and one that the Sheffield
fans will no doubt remeber for a
long time, and we are left hoping that it does noit have a negative effect
on the confidence of the team ahead of the more important Premier League and Champions League games to come.
He lies to the
fans with high hopes He bottles things up when the chance presents itself He later comes out to say we can't win the premier league That's what happens every season still some
fans haven't realised this agony His
time is up to leave but he won't He favours some players than others He later blames the
fans as if the
fans select the players He has never blamed himself For some unknown reasons,
fans continue to show their loyalty by fully attending matches while they come out
on social media to vent their frustrations Wenger is taking the love of football from people Hardly a day passes than Wenger not being insulted For how
long will these sufferings continue?
glad someone has
time and patience to spell this out... i have lost patience with most
on this site who have been in denial
on these points for so
long it has become dispiriting... the number of people who spent
time telling barcelona that ramsey was not for sale was as big an indication as any to me that delusion had become systemic among too many
fans only disagreement is with wilshire..
we have waited a
long time for this club to truly step up, which is a difficult ask... to do so properly they will need to overextend themselves and get well outside the comfort zone they have become accustomed to... at the very least they owe their
fans, most of whom supported this franchise for at least the first 8 years of this 10 year plan, one real shot at the «promised» land... remember phase one was build and save, phase two was the fire sale of all our top players, phase three was supposed to be our metamorphosis, when we were literally told how we could compete with any club in the world and phase four appears to be rinse and repeat, under the guise that we just can't seem to find any players that are better than our current lot (can you even imagine the state of world soccer if that were truly the case)... it's
time for you Mr. Kroenke and Mr. Wenger to ask not what the
fans can do for you, but what you two can do to make things right again for the
fans... if you can't do this earnestly and honestly, simply move
on before the only thing left in the cupboard are bitter memories and what could have beans?
Shut up you muppet Your a totaly blinkerd fool And why are people coming
on here slating English
fans all the
time How do you know what we think Arsenal is an English club in an English league so we should be allowed an opinion without being categorised The games we lost the whole team played badly The games we won we were having our best run of form for a
long time All because jack is injured ha,, you haven't got it all figured out
Although it will undoubtedly be disappointing for Chelsea
fans to see him leave after such a successful spell with them, the
time is certainly right for him to move
on and for the club to look for adequate
long - term replacements.
the obvious fact is that the club began to stagnate in football terms a decade ago after the CL semi against man utd and has been in outright retreat over the last 3 years... some
fans were calling for wenger to leave in 2011 - 12 as it was clear he could not cope with a more competitive environment others have been more tolerant, hanging
on to fa cup glory and hoping that he would somehow self correct his weak and erratic management style but most now realise that is not possible and that the club will deteriorate further under his management so also want him gone, that has left a hard core of wenger loyalists who are either fixated with the past (selecting episodic good and bad times to justify wengers decade long failure) or too frightened of the future to contemplate a change (with selective reference to failed managerial changes by way of justification) or both, to conclude, through a mixture of panglossian fatalism and corporate philosophising, how lucky we are to have such an honourable and educated man in charge... along with their confused references to club loyalty and addiction to computer games these are troubled souls who need our sympathy and concerned medical advice... SO JUST F OFF STOCK UP ON CANNED SOUP AND GO SUPPORT ASTON VILLA ON FIF

Why are some arsenal
fans happy with the mediocrity and stagnation that has gone
on at arsenal for a
long time.
Eactly, and
fans on this website show how fickle they are, an unfit Wilshere being compared to players that have had game
time all year
long says it all really.
Finally, and to reiterate an earlier point, the way forward for this club is to stop paying below average bench players so much money and to focus the bulk of the weekly wages
on establishing a dominant starting 11... this will require the club to eat some wages in order to ship some players out, get rid of any deadwood over the age of 21, develop a cutting edge scouting service and put your money where your mouth is for once... I would much rather have a starting 11 that was world - class and give some reasonably paid young blue - chippers playing
time when injuries occur than have 2 or 3 world class players surrounded by a plethora of overpaid and underwhelming players... management would no
longer be able to sell their half - baked plans to the
fans under the guise of «winning now», which any intelligent
fan knows is a crap - shoot at best, and instead create a a squad that provides hope for the present and the future... this is exactly the model that has been used by Barcelona, Real & Bayern, so it should be good enough for us... by the way, until Messi & Ronaldo re-signed just recently all 3 clubs weekly wages were
on par with ours... think about that for a second or two
First of all is the fact that Mkhitaryan is known to have been a big
fan of Arsene Wenger and Arsenal for a
long time, as an interview reported
on UEFA.com years ago makes crystal clear.
Arsenal
fans will certainly agree that a change in manager has probably been a
long time coming, as few Chelsea
fans will be too bothered about their regular chopping and changing as it seems to always spark new life into their players to go
on and find a new level to their game and achieve big things again.
Wenger has achieved a huge amount for the club and although some of it was set prior to his arrival and some of it was an extension of his initial success the fact that winds up most of the anti wenger
fans is that the club IS spending money and IS trying to rebuild after a
long time in the wilderness, but when it comes to the spending
on players its always the CHEAPER option in the most important area's Chips Keswick Boasted a # 100» 000 000 war chest during last summers closed season and stated that the club could buy any player they wished (Apart from the worlds top players at that point Messi) yet instead of spending the money in area's that needed drastic improvement Wenger opted for the cheaper replacements and spent just over half of the money allocated.
