Typically, I massively dislike visible
petticoats peaking out from under vintage style dresses, but
with this dress I think a touch of black chiffon or tulle visible against the sheer floral border
looks beautiful.
Not only do I believe that life is too short for ugly underwear, but the right
petticoat can make achieving a certain shape effortless, particularly the full skirted
look that I obsessively try to make fuller and poofier
with each passing year...
This skirt
looks much better in «person» than it
looks in the stock photo, probably because the color seems brighter and you know, having a
petticoat underneath The skirt is gorgeous but I'm having hard time combining printed skirts
with tops, so this print probably isn't for me (just you wait until it's Black Friday:D) but on the other hand it would
look so great
with a black top, just like the burgundy one in the product photos.
In our differing sizes of S and L it
looks just as lovely, and can be worn
with petticoat and without.
It closes
with a back zipper and the skirt is full enough to take a
petticoat but it isn't a full circle, so it
looks simpler and more modern worn without a petti.
Many of these dresses
look sensational both
with and without a
petticoat, but by adding that extra volume you can create a really dramatic vintage silhouette!
