tales games, Valkyria Chronicles and then you have Wind Waker which
looks more on the cartoon side than the computer generated flat

Tale is such a unique and captivating
looking game that it deserves your attention for its aesthetics alone.

game was announced back at E3 2006 and still we ended up having to wait 10 years and in the midst of all this SE decided hey let's make 2 sequels to Final Fantasy XIII that nobody asked for, and that further convolute the story of an already dreadful trilogy that pales in comparison to other lower budget jrpg's of last gen that had far more likable characters such as
Tales of Xillia, Valkyria Chronicles, and even Xenoblade Chronicles of which fared considerably better.
Some of the decisions you've made previously impact the story in fairly significant ways, sometimes removing options from you entirely, whilst other decisions you've made are almost ignored by Bioware, presumably because they
looked back at their
games and had a panic attack when they realised how hard it would be to finish telling the story they want to of every single one of your choices changed the landscape of the
tale.
I'm tired of being bombarded with
games that
look like they were drawn by a 5th grader, offer as much depth as a wading pool, and have a (lack of a) story that makes Dr. Seuss
tales seem like classic novels.
The art used for the Ancient
Tales chapters are all hand drawn and may
look overly simplistic when compared to what we expect out of
games now, but they really do lend to the feel of a traditional Chinese story when combined with actual traditional Chinese stories.
I hate to sound like a broken record but
Tales of Hearts R is
looking like a brilliant
game to have on the PS Vita.
These
games may be worth a
look for the masochistic, but the rest of us should view them as a cautionary
tale.

Tale of
Tales developers thought their
games were «art», but failed to understand that a nice
looking game, or a beautiful painting doesn't make it art.
Telltale has never been overly quick when it comes to releasing follow up episodes in their episodic

Tales from the Borderlands where the episo...
Graphically, The Walking Dead: Michonne is excellent as the animations of the character models are fluent, while the
game possesses a visually striking comic book cel shaded art style that
looks just as good as the second season of The Walking Dead and
Tales from the Borderlands with the characters and environments living up to the quality associated with The Walking Dead comics and prior seasons.
Rather than the staid, turn - based battles of the «Final Fantasy» series, «
Tales of Destiny» embraced something that
looked like a side - scrolling action
game and played like a fighting
game.
A slightly grittier, more realistic
look robs the
game of its traditional
Tales allure.
The repetitive and overly - lengthy nature of the campaign, as well as a lacklustre versus mode, holds the title back from reaching the same heights as its predecessors, but those
looking for an original universe and an uplifting
tale will be hard - pressed to find a deeper and better -
looking game this year.
