When you start
looking at other forms of active investing besides
mutual funds, passive investing isn't always cheaper.
The procedure to compare the costs of a
mutual fund and an ETF is to find two similar investment strategies and
look at their prospectus.
Just
look at how many
mutual fund managers, who are definitely «professionals» suck
at what they're doing and don't even beat passive index benchmarks!
