Many people believe that the vitamins and minerals in a dog food come from the food ingredients in the food but most dog foods are cooked at such high temperatures that many of the nutrients are
lost during the cooking process.
The issue when it's used in dried food is that it has a water contain of about 80 percent, most of which is
lost during cooking.
Note: Nutrition facts are estimated (about half of the fat in the pork will be
lost during cooking which is considered in the table above).
I'm sure some nutrients are
lost during cooking though.
Water - soluble vitamins such as vitamin C and B vitamins are often

The amount of nutrients
