Paralarvae reared in captivity with Artemia showed a depletion of bacterial
diversity, particularly after day 5, when almost half the bacterial species present on day 0 were
lost and two bacterial families (Mycoplasmataceae and Vibrionaceae) dominated the
microbial community.
