We've seen and heard
a lot about BlackBerry 10 this week, but if you're a BlackBerry owner excited about the new OS, you're going to have to get ready to invest in a new handset: RIM CEO Thorsten Heins confirmed once again this morning that the company has no upgrade path for existing BlackBerry 7 devices.

about BlackBerry, but let me remind you that at
BlackBerry, we are not dwelling on the past.
I'm not going to go into a
lot of details
about the specs because they are already listed over on the dedicated
BlackBerry PlayBook review page.
You're either truly ignorant of of a
lot of information
about BlackBerry or you're purposely telling blatant lies.
While Siegler compared the new device to a
Blackberry Playbook in terms of appearance, squashing a
lot of the talk
about what Amazon's tablet might look like, he did put to rest a
lot of the discussion swirling
about the two tablet model, stating that the original plan was to release both the 10» tablet and its more cost - effective 7» screen younger brother; however, Siegler's article discussed the fact that Amazon is now going to launch with only the 7» and release the 10» in 2012, depending on the popularity of the first new Kindle tablet.
If you spend a
lot of time in WiFi coverage all day, I'd probably go for the Bold 9900 for the keyboard, bigger screen and hotter look, but if you're out and
about a
lot and want a nice portable phone that gets through the day with power to spare and still has that Bold badge on it, the 9790 could be the
BlackBerry 7 Smartphone for you.
Lot's of posts
about the acquisition online, but I found it interesting that
BlackBerry has acquired Good Technology.
It also knocked a whopping 58 percent off a RIM
BlackBerry PlayBook 32 GB ($ 249), but it hasn't sold out yet today — which I guess says a
lot more
about the tablet than it does
about eBay.
Not a whole
lot is known

BlackBerry Mobile has not put out a full press release with a spec sheet just yet.

Deathmatch: Applications RIM has made a
lot of noise
about its
BlackBerry App World store, but despite the hoopla and a push to entice gaming vendors, the selection of
BlackBerry apps remains limited.
One of the features I think a
lot of people are super excited
about with the upcoming
BlackBerry 10 OS is in the camera.
More recently I heard
about a 10» another
BlackBerry PlayBook design, but the description was a
lot different — it had sharp angles vs. rounded corners.

BlackBerry World happens in May and RIM has a
lot of exciting things planned for
BlackBerry World and more importantly, the
BlackBerry 10 Jam.
Tech site GDGT followed up with details
about the tablet's build, writing that the Fire looks a whole
lot like the
BlackBerry Playbook, and that this similarity is not a coincidence: In order to get their new tablet out in time for the holidays, Amazon outsourced design and production of the new tablet to the same company that made the Playbook (which, by the way, isn't doing so hot in terms of sales).

Hard to say... if you think
about the existing
BlackBerry operating system, I'd argue that the bigger the display, the more enjoyable the BBOS experience is and with a
lot more screen space you can do more with apps.
Hence I'm reading his blawg
about BlackBerry, which includes
lots of great links to his former posts on the topic.
Traditional watch manufacturers are being dismissive
about it — which sounds a
lot like how Rim (
Blackberry) dismissed the iPhone when it first came out.
We broke the exclusive story
about the Galaxy Note 6 featuring a
BlackBerry Hub like feature known as Samsung Hub, so a
lot will be different with this year's Note flagship.
TCL didn't give out a
lot of information
about its upcoming new phones, but both of them will feature physical QWERTY keyboards like the
BlackBerry KeyOne.
