authoring «Bake This Cake» and «Bake This Bread» in order to bring life to historic cake and bread recipes.
There is no site like this in my country and I was very grateful to the

friend who understands me... I do something which has always been very natural and still is to mammals in this world and please, if you disagree, do not criticize us and do not jump to conclusions because it hurts...

lot of medical challenges she's got to deal with right now, and selling books is hard enough when you're NOT dealing with medical challenges.
So if you have any
author friends with
lots of fans (and your
author friend likes your work), perhaps suggest paying him / her to boost your book.
So I suggested making an «
Author's Questions to / for the Reader» section instead
of a «Discussion Questions» section, which my
friends liked a
lot more.
I posted my Book Cover and had a Cover Reveal with a
lot of blogs and
author friends as soon as it was available.
A
lot of would - be
authors get their
friends to edit and then make a cover themselves.
Two
author friends with a
lot of books between them just started their own publishing company and brought several new, first time,
authors into the fold.
But an
author friend recently told me they'd gotten a
lot of signups for their Amazon giveaway without much promotion.
As Indie
authors, we spend a
lot of time thinking about the expectations
of our readers, our spouses, our editors, our
friends and fellow
authors.
I think
lots of authors have other
author friends that they go to when they're stuck, or if they need a second opinion, in addition to everyone else.

My
friends and I have been running Knockin» Books for over a year and in that relatively short time, we've been lucky enough to interact with a
lot of authors both self - and traditionally - published.
One other
friend of mine left he was in the real estate space wrote a book with with a major publishing house and then a few years later stopped he left real estate and went into a really strong personal development business and the publisher went up well you're not promoting this book anymore and they took his book word - for - word and put somebody else's name on the cover
of it and just put a new introduction on it no credit to anybody he had worked because he had two co-
authors help him with it because he's dyslexic so they essentially were the ones that wrote it and he provided a
lot of the content and the publisher gave those other
authors no credit took his name off and put somebody else's name on the front and then the publisher was 100 % within their rights to do it so you know there's a
lot of things that I challenge people to kind
of think about what's important and if you're putting all your expertise into this book you want to make sure that somebody's negotiated a heck out
of it giving you a contract that actually makes sense for you and your business.
And if I was a Blue
author, I'd start quietly moving towards the lifeboats and just happen to have my lifejacket (
friends on the Red Ship and
lots of scurrilous stories about Blue editors to tell them) handy.
I get pinged by a
lot of self - published
authors wildly out
of my genre just looking for another name to plump up their
friend list and hawk their book too.
You could even argue that my experience isn't representative
of any other
author's experience, although I have a
lot of friends in the business and it's fair to say that much
of what I've found vexatious about working with legacy publishers vexes other people I know, too.
