I understand there will always be a, «but» and here it is; a
tiny home is still a
home, and like any long standing concept it brings with it a
lot of baggage.
Thanks for the good advise, but laws are changing and just maybe they will approve the
Tiny homes in a Special type
of Tiny Home Lots...... Food for thought....

One thing that does not seem to be a part
of this code is building only a
tiny house or
tiny houses on a
lot of land (the
tiny houses must share a
lot with an existing
home).
Tiny homes are easy to save for or even build from scratch, utilities are far more reasonable, and a
lot of them are easy to move from one location to another.
I am drawn to Walsenburg, CO and there are a number
of open
lots there where I keep envisioning how I would orient a
tiny house such as
hOMe built on a slab to best take advantage.
As such, a
lot of the same design principles, solutions, and products that work in a standard house will work in a
tiny home, too.
I suppose the requirement for two
lots per
Tiny House is to recoup some
of the lowered property tax for the smaller
home?

lot of thought on insulation, so that our
Tiny Home can be all - season livable.
But it's clear that
