Though many of my
recipes are solid (like
lotion bars) or body - butters, this one is a liquid oil, which makes it easier to use when
on the go.
I used a store bought
lotion in this
recipe because I had it
on hand and already knew I loved the texture and how it worked
on my face, but you could also use the homemade face
lotion in this
recipe and just change the powders that are added to make this a tinted
lotion instead of foundation.
As the focus of this homemade
lotion recipe is
on not only
on its skin nourishing properties but also
on the fragrance I highly recommend using refined ingredients so you get a true scent that's not overpowered or masked by the natural scent of unrefined ingredients.
I do not recommend using the magnesium oil for children because it can irritate their delicate skin but this
lotion recipes works wonderfully
on my children.
