If your dog is a bit worried about bathing, particularly in certain areas, use
lots of food rewards to encourage good behavior.
Getting into the habit when your kitten is young is the best way to start, but any cat can be trained with enough patience and
lots of food rewards.

a lot of food rewards (one of the many life rewards used in training) in the beginning, our goal is to phase out food rewards quickly (you will always use food as a reward but we want to make sure you use «life rewards,» too).

food as fuel, not as a
reward — A
lot of people view
food as a «
reward» or a «treat».
Looking back, all the diets I tried were much lower in
food reward than the «regular» American diet with
lots of sweets that kept calling to me!
It takes dedication to no eat carbs through out the week as a
lot of foods have carbs, but remember you will be
rewarded greatly for your dedication.
And,
of course, over time if you eat a
lot of sugary, high - calorie
foods, your brain's dopamine system gets desensitized, making it harder and harder to get the same
reward from those
foods, meaning you eat more and more
of them.
To encourage your puppy to free stack,
reward him for doing so with small bits
of food and
lots of praise when he is hanging out with you in the kitchen.
However, they like their
food, and they are willing to please, so if you use
lots of rewards and keep training sessions short, they are quite capable learners.
For the dog that is fearful
of the veterinary office you might begin by taking the dog to the veterinarian's parking
