Yeah, I use a
lot of Adobe
apps and also Ableton and they
run fine cross platform.
Working for Engadget involves a
lot of multitasking, so I often had two
apps — like Slack and Safari —
running side by side in iOS's Split View mode.
With 6 GB
of RAM, multitasking isn't an issue either, and you can have a
lot of apps in
running the background and keep them for a very long time.
That power is undeniably a good thing, but the screen size will be more divisive, as while all that space is great if you plan to use it as a real laptop replacement, for
