It's not about a law or legalism... If you are truly Born of God
obedience is just the natural outcome of
love, not trying... If you find yourself trying to not cuss, well, that's works and legalism... but if you walk
by the Spirit where the topic just never really comes up because it's not in God's, Jesus» or the Holy Spirit's vocabulary.

obedience, among other ridiculous things, and... sent «himself» to die for «us» as we are «broken» and «flawed» / sinful» creations, and
by sending his - self... if... we just «believe» we go to eternal paradise with him.
Myth and fact are inextricably entangled, and a person is not necessarily a more authentic Christian
by being more firmly grasped
by the one or the other: «For this is the marriage of heaven and earth: Perfect Myth and Perfect Fact: claiming not only our
love and our
obedience, but also our wonder and delight, addressed to the savage, the child, and the poet in each one of us no less than to the moralist, the scholar, and the philosopher.»
And yet he was a faithful servant, who willed the Good in truth, and he was also
loved by the Good, that prizes
obedience more than the «fat of the ram.»
We must learn that the unity of the faith and the will to
obedience and
love are not abolished
by certain tensions.
If there is one God who made and
loves all people and seeks from them an answering
love and
obedience, then perhaps spiritual experience is that which unites, and the world of religious differences is caused

obedience; — He insists on impartiality in the way we bless others, even if we call them «evil» or «good».
Authoritarianism denies fulfillment of the child's need for unqualified
love by making acceptance contingent on
obedience.
We are not to shut ourselves off from the world in a spirit of asceticism, but to live in the everyday world inspired
by the radical
obedience that is demanded
by the
love of God.
This
love by God requires the partner's obligatory
love, especially expressed in covenant
