So what I
love most about this rendition is that it is basically 1/4 cup of the following ingredients — palm shortening, coconut sugar, dairy - free
chocolate chips and
dark chocolate, along with almond flour and a sprinkle of coconut flour.
I added
dark chocolate chips because I
LOVE peanut butter and
chocolate together!
The addition of
dark chocolate chips really ensures everyone in the family will
love them, although you could substitute raisins and / or chopped walnuts in place of the
chocolate chips if you wish.
We usually use a good quality
dark chocolate that is sweetened with stevia or rice syrup, but we have made this using the enjoy life
chips and
loved it.
