As a child I loved sewing soft toys, knitting a jumper or trying to make my own earrings.

I think this stems from my Mum's love of knitting, as a kid I was able to pick a pattern and balls of wool each year (several times) and within a matter of weeks I had a new jumper to keep warm in.

The season has made jumpers almost a necessity and I just LOVE it haha — there's so many styling options when it comes to chunky knits and layers.

For me these alternatives are things like switching jeans for cigarette trousers, swapping my standard knitted jumper for a silk blouse and sophisticated neckerchief (which also doubles up as a super cosy scarf too), mixing a chic skirt and thick tights into the mix every now and then (I love this one), throwing in a jumper dress for good measure (almost as good as PJ's I assure you) and finally, mixing and matching my outerwear to keep it fresh.
