love the sound on a tin roof, dream

of my days in the peace and calm
of the hill country, with
dogs, horses and miniture
herd of cattle and maybe a long horn or two my dreams are a costly lot but are still my dreams.
Owning a
herding dog is an adventure full
of love, loyalty, companionship, and so much more.
He isn't into chasing the ball or even really
herding the
dog chasing the ball like some
of my
dogs, he just seems to
love to gallop around in huge circles; just enjoying the exercise.

herding instinct which stays with them, they
love to chase things — this can sadly end in disaster sometimes as they are prone to chase cars and must be trained out
of this habit at the earliest chance.
Our membership is made up
of a variety
of German Shepherd Fanciers including, conformation, obediece, agility and
herding competitors as well as a folks that just
love their
dog!
