My wife pointed out, of course, that the «homeless» family members had hats covering their faces and
other such things, so it is not really their fault for not

What I would

As a strong Catholic who is of service to the community on a regular basis,

see CNN's belief blog write a story about the positive of the Catholic faith, instead of always reading about the
people that have left and the problems
people have with the Church.
Loving others, offering friendship, being present, being a good listener, not judging and being a safe
person in whom
others can confide and with whom they can be real all can show Jesus to
people in ways that they can
see and hear.
It is amazing how two
people can read the Bible, one
sees love and God reaching out to His
loved ones and the
other sees lies.
I have written two books on the subject myself, but
love seeing how
other people deal with this difficult topic.
Some Christians would be extremely uncomfortable with the idea of liquor cabinet evangelism, but as you can
see, it is enabling
other people to open up to you, which allows you in turn to show the
love of Jesus to them.
They want to
see compassion, not cathedrals,
love (especially for the poor and the marginalized), not theology that excludes these
people and exalts
others.
