I love sesame oil on veggies.
Although I normally really
love sesame oil I thought it was overpowering... or maybe it was the combo of the oil with the soy sauce.
We all love sesame oil's flavor so this is now the only kind I use (won't replace my lighter types).
I love sesame oil but for some reason it just didn't jive for me on this.

As much as I
love to eat seasonally, there are definitely some staples that I have on hand no matter what time of year: whole
sesame tahini, avocados, broccoli, spinach, chia seeds, coconut
oil, lemons, sweet potatoes, fresh herbs.
I
love the mix of sautéed garlic, tamari, chilli flakes and
sesame oil with little bites of aubergine, sliced mushrooms and broccoli, tons of noodles and a good sprinkling of chives, toasted cashews and
sesame seeds.

I omitted the ginger and added a dash of soy sauce to bring out the miso, though I
love the idea of
sesame oil.
I've never made edamame dip before but
love the Asian spin on this one with the mix of edamame and tahini, and then throw in some rice vinegar, sweet soy sauce and

As for leftover tahini, it's great eaten plain on a spoon — my wife
loves that, and I sometimes indulge, but we also make a nice salad dressing from it — tahini, lime or lemon juice, a dash of soy or tamari, and some toasted

We produced Betsy's Tempeh in Mich. for 9 1/2 years back in the mid 80's and when we introduced new customers when doing an «in store» presentation, we marinated it the night before with some tamari and the day of the demo, using a toaster oven, brushed the tempeh with some hot pepper
sesame oil and browed it off and served it with toothpicks in cubes that customers
loved.
