used unsweetened almond milk also I see by the
date that u posted yr comment back in August 2012 over a year ago so perhaps u have come up with a reason why the green tint by now if u have made it again I am definitly going to keep making it

loved the recipe idea
used 1 cup of almonds and 1cup ofwalnuts instead of pecans added linseed, sunflower seeds pumpkin seeds and unsweetened coconut flakes to make up the bulk of the nuts and 1 cup of
dates + half a cup of dried figs all other ingredients & measurements were the same just out of the oven haven't tasted them yet hope they are as nice as yours seem 2b Alex

I never thought about
using coconut nectar with
dates; I
love them both separately and imagining them together is mind blowing!
Love it, but how much do I
use to replace the sugar in, say, a fruit cake ie is there a majool
date puree to sugar relationship.
Oh, and lastly, I don't
love using raisins; my health food store has
date pieces coated in oat flour (to prevent them sticking together)... so yummy!
