I thought making a set of
puppets for our story retelling would be an awesome idea and since my kids
love to
stick things into glue it was a win win.
Because even the documentary aspects aren't enough to stand on their own, each story of true
love is recreated by one of Yi's intentionally - amateurish
puppet shows / third - grade dioramas, with the major players represented by Popsicle -
stick people and every metaphor literalized to the point of ridiculousness.
Suitable for all abilities KS3 and KS4 - pupils
love this as they can make costume choices by colouring in their characters and attaching key quotes to the
sticks of their
puppet.
