"Low tide" refers to the time when the water level of the ocean, sea, or any other body of water is at its lowest point.

This is especially useful
during low tide when the waters are far and the beach isn't as nice to stay at.
The peak begins at a large rocky slab that can be exposed
on low tide.
If this was the case there would only be one high tide and one
low tide in each 24 hour 50 minute period.
A sturdy staircase leads down to a secluded «wet sand» beach, perfect
for low tide swimming and exploring.
Is best avoided at
low tide as the wave breaks in very shallow water.

Typically one hour after high tide & two hours
before low tide will provide good long lines of white water waves for new surfers and gentle rolling green waves for developing surfers.

Early
morning low tide so only Middle Reef was an option, and there was the odd chest nipple high set showing.
On its other coasts,
low tide reveals pools that are also enticing, with fish trapped between coral gardens.
Great waves all year around and at the right time of the day, about an hour
after low tide, the waves can get quite big and good to surf.

At
low tide visitors can walk over the rocks to a huge, shallow lagoon which is covered by a rocky reef.
Instead I've had a day off work which tied in perfectly with a
big low tide at lunchtime.
It's always a safe option to do beach walks at
low tide where possible.
Low tide gives you a chance to pull your beach chairs into the water and soak up the rays.
Better on high tide, try to avoid it during
dead low tide if possible.
Low tide gets really shallow and hollow with steep drops and very fast walls.
If it's calm and
low tide head to the right and around the corner and be amazed at a beautiful, hidden lagoon.
Low tides also offer visitors who want stay above the water's surface a chance to explore.
Low tide often reveals rock pools where you can observe fish and marine life waiting to hitch a ride on the next tide.

low tide many crystal clear tide pools become exposed uncovering a spectacular underwater world.

This extra water is then used as a buffer when the sea star is exposed to direct sunlight and warm water during periods
of low tide.
Just be sure to get there about 2 hrs
BEFORE low tide to maximize your time!
We've got a 9:30 am high tide with a following 3:30
pm low tide.
That's half the problem with the early
morning low tide, waiting for enough water so I don't put my crew on the rocks.
