lower glycemic index (45)
than table sugar, also known as
sucrose (65) or or corn syrup (100).

In fact,
sucrose has a
lower glycemic index which they think may even make it better
than other refined carbohydrates.
It is a combination of fructose, lactose and
sucrose, I believe (please check me), and supposedly has a much
lower glycemic index
than regular sugar because of the way the sugars work together.
