If there's
lumps in the batter feel free to whisk it together with a few strokes — but be careful not to get overzealous.
But you barely have to dirty 3 bowls (cut that down to two bowls if you're okay with
some lumps in the batter).
It's okay if there are
some lumps in the batter.
This should just take a few seconds — there will still be
lumps in the batter and that is okay.
Mix well, making sure to get rid of
all lumps in the batter.
Let batter sit for a few minutes (there may be a few
lumps in the batter, letting the batter sit will decrease the amount of lumps).
