lymphoid follicles in the spleen, lamina propria of the stomach and small intestine, mesenteric lymph nodes and Kupffer cells.
Interestingly, CD8 and NK cells are unable to traffic into
lymphoid follicles.
Embedded in the bulbar surface is a dense population of
lymphoid follicles that are in contact with the surface of the eye and the tear film, a thin layer of liquid.
