made with coconut oil,
pumpkin,
apple cider, coconut sugar and einkorn flour — which is very similar to white spelt flour in baking.
I grew up with my mom

made a second batch and added puréed

apple sauce, some walnuts, raisins and
apple pie spice and OMG!!!

Apple pie spice mix is a popular mix this time of year, but I'd rather have the spices separate so I can
make pumpkin spice or just have plain cinnamon.
The first time I
made the soup I matched the
pumpkin with parsnip, carrots and
apples.

Not only will you love the sweetness of the
pumpkin; you'll absolutely adore the lip - smacking dressing
made with zingy lemon and
apple cider vinegar, with a mildly salty tamari kick.
The onset of autumn is worth celebrating, so why not

The company still
makes its signature pies, too, in

Although this pie's got a harmonious combination of
apple / pecan /
pumpkin, it's the silky baked
apples that take on the main role here, cozied up in heavenly spiced layers to
