is that he married his sister or less likely his niece. The reasoning
is that Adam and Eve lived alot longer and continued to have sons and daughters GEN5: 4 aCTS 17:26 Paul tells us that the God who
made the world hath
made of one blood all nations of man to dwell on all the face of the earth.Cain did nt marry to another tribe or nation as every man and women
was a relative and of the same bloodline of Adam and Eve.The importance of this
is that sin entered through one man Adam and
is past through the bloodline so redemption
is only possible through the same bloodline. So for the formula to work the
human genome had to stay the same no
other tribes or nations just the descendents of Adam and Eve.It also solves another riddle in that satan at various times prior to the flood and after the flood tried to contaminate the bloodline
by his angels having sexual relations with the women this created a type of alien in essence and would have not
been able to have
been redeemed
by the blood of Jesus as it wasnt fully

On the contrary, I should claim, what I have
been saying
is metaphysical in the second sense of the word which I proposed in an earlier chapter; it
is the
making of wide generalizations on the basis of experience, with a reference back to verify or «check» the generalizations, a reference which includes not only the specific experience from which it started but also
other experiences, both
human and more general,
by which its validity may
be tested — and the result
is not some grand scheme which claims to encompass everything in its sweep, but a vision of reality which to the one who sees in this way appears a satisfactory, but
by no means complete, picture of how things actually and concretely go in the world.

No; what
makes one's pulse to bound when he remembers his own home under foreign skies,
is never the rich man, nor the learned man, nor the distinguished man of any sort who - illustrates its history, for in all these petty products almost every country may favorably, at all events tediously, compete with our own; but it
is all simply the abstract manhood itself of the country, man himself unqualified
by convention, the man to whom all these conventional men have
been simply introductory, the man who — let me say it — for the first time in
human history finding himself in his own right the peer of every
other man, spontaneously aspires and attains to a far freer and profounder culture of his nature than has ever yet illustrated humanity...
They
are: rationalization, which tends toward sterile intellectualization and robs life of its character and vitality; estheticism, which cuts off true communication
by maintaining an esthetic distance in order to dominate, rather than to support,
others; capitalism, which tends to deper - sonalize people
by providing for their hedonistic needs in order to support production and consumption regardless of its
human utility; and nationalism, which tends to

Augustine never quite brings his view of sexual love within the range of his deepest insight as to what loving another in God means: turning the whole current of love for self and neighbour into the channel of the love of God «which suffers no stream to
be drawn off from itself
by whose diversion its own volume would
be diminished».19 To turn the
human loves into the stream of devotion to God
is one thing, to set devotion to God apart as one kind of love which
makes others inferior
is another.

by diversity and relationality.
