I
made this recipe yesterday, and I saved both the concentrated
ginger water after boiling, and saved the honey
ginger syrup to use for teas and cool
ginger drinks I just added some to my water bottle with some lemon crystals, it's very yummy!
My grandma used to
make syrup with rock candy, fresh sliced
ginger and water to put on the grass jelly.
To cut through some of the sweetness I drizzled this cake with a simple lemon icing and it compliments the flavouring so well the tart lemon, the sticky golden
