This is a coarse textured, lusty bread that
you make in a springform pan (or two loaves).
I did not
make it in a springform pan for fear of it dripping out, and it worked just fine in an oval dish the first time, a square one the next.
* Recipe creates 4 medium - sized cheesecakes (made in ramekins), ~ 12 mini cheesecakes (made in muffin tins), or 1 large cheesecake (
made in a springform pan or round cake pan).

The bottom plate of the
springform made it slippery... Also the 8 - inch layers weren't a tight fit
in the
springform (and it was the smaller size) so it just wasn't pretty after it came out of the

make a layer cake, simply double the cake recipe and bake
in two separate
pans, preferably silicon or
springform, so that you can get the cakes out of the
pans easily.
also you need to
make sure that the
springform pan you will use is able to go into your freezer for a few hours, so
make space for it beforehand so you can easily place it

The pastry dough is
made in a food processor and pressed

springform pan which is then filled with the fruit filling.
If you
make this cake
in a nine - inch
springform pan, cut the baking time by about 15 minutes.
You'll need a
springform pan to
make this correctly, but you could probably do it
in a deep dish pie
pan if you're desperate.

pan - I

in a plain ole baking dish and they turned out great.
