making my own
breakfast food instead
of getting the pastry that comes with my morning latte).
I eat chia «porridge» (
made by soaking them in liquid) with fruit for
breakfast and have never had a problem with them like I do when eating phytate - rich
foods such as nuts and coconut and beans; I get a cramp like pain on my mid-right side which starts anywhere from 15 minutes to a few hours or more after eating these typical
foods and the attack intensifies and lasts a couple
of hours to longer, depending on how much and when I eat them.
I've been looking for a new
breakfast food, and I think this would great because I could
make them up ahead
of time and just cook the ones I want that morning.
Each
of the
breakfast foods in the Sprout Rise collection is
made with real fruits, vegetables and grains, without preservatives, fillers, additives or artificial colors or flavors.
As I'm usually trying to cram
food into my face as fast as possible in the mornings (firstly, I am hungrayyy, secondly I've only got about 10 minutes to
make and eat my
breakfast and coffee during the week), I go for yogurt and muesli (an addiction I've stuck to for pretty much 75 %
of my mornings for a year, so far).
Pancakes are one
of my favorite
breakfast foods and I can't wait to
make these ones!
I know when I eat a healthy, satisfying
breakfast it starts my day off on a good note and I'm more likely to
make healthy
food choices for the rest
of the day.
