hi, I have a niece coming to visit but she is both lactose &
nut allergic, I was going to
make the raw brownies as a treat (she is actually just a year old) however obviously can not put the
pecans in.

pecans are so expensive I've started
making it with a mix of
pecans, raisins and other
nuts.
TRAIL MIX: I
make my own very simply by mixing together my favourite
nuts and seeds — cashews, almonds,
pecans, coconut flakes, and then adding some dried fruit in too: raisins, figs, and dates.
Made this for dinner last night, although with Trader Joe's sprouted whole wheat pasta (we were out of wild rice) and sans the

pecans added linseed, sunflower seeds pumpkin seeds and unsweetened coconut flakes to

I recently discovered I am intolerant to oats & cows milk so I had to change my breakfasts, and this is what I came up with... Every Sunday evening I
make a large bowl of quinoa, with it I mix in raisins (to
make it sweeter), cashews,
pecans, pine
nuts, chia seeds and flaxseed and dish them into 5 different containers.
Tested this morning, without maple sirup and with almond milk, some home -
made nutella and
pecan nuts.
A sauce
made with
pecans or walnuts, I don't seem to have a problem eating either of those, Btw, question: (are cashews,
pecans and walnuts all in the
nut family?)
Made with ground
pecans, peanuts and a helping of spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger it's not a
nut butter to be neglected.
