First, we were greeted with freshly
made plantain chips served with chimichurri and their homemade «blow - fyah» pepper sauce.

made twice, is the Caribbean Curried Black Eyed Peas with
Plantains.
These sweet, crispy waffles are
made with 7 real - food ingredients including

This glaze would
make a great topping to my Paleo Carrot Cake Banana Bread, Paleo Banana Pecan Muffins or Paleo
Plantain Pancakes.
I buy
plantains at the farmer's market every time I go, and the key is
making sure your
plantain is extremely ripe before pan frying it — so I'm talking black skin.
Letting it cook longer will
make the broth even thicker, but cooking too long will caues the ripe
plantain and pumpkin to fall apart.
With these, I decided to
make salted
plantain chips.
Brush the
plantains with some oil, place them on a lightly oiled, lined baking tray and bake for 40 mins
making sure to turn them half way through.
But I didn't doubt it for a second —
plantains can be eaten boiled like mashed potatoes, so how is it possible to
make them worse by microwaving and then deep frying them?
