I
make a delicious hummus
with pickled red bell peppers added to the chick peas & tahini, but it works for me because I neutralize the sweetness
with good
curry powder and several dashes of cayenne.
I
make that same dressing, just
with chili
powder instead of
curry!
Next time you
make it, start
with 3 tablespoons of
curry powder and add more as needed.
Now that your armed
with that little tidbit of knowledge; it all
makes sense why sometimes you'll like the way one
curry powder tastes and hate the way another one tastes.
Soupy bottle gourd, carrot, peas

Also feel free to play around
with the spices, you may or may not like the
curry powder, swap it out for some smoked paprika or Italian herbs, the options are endless!You can have these plain as is
with some sauce (hmm sriracha) or you can go all the way and be extra like me by
making cheesy sweet potato fries.
I
made it
with pure ancho chile
powder, but it would be equally tasty
with a chili
powder blend,
curry powder or even garam masala.
I

with half the
curry powder and no salt for Wolfie.
