We
think of «eyesight» as this
magical thing because it's pretty
magical, yet all it is is the result of photons striking chemicals that are in physical structures within the retina and
cause a nerve impulse.

cause him to «outthink» himself and
cause problems, but he knows it nonetheless, and he does

cause for great concern.
More recently it's happened with weaning a little - un, most people
think that breastfeeding
causes magical weight loss but in my experience it's been the opposite, I've only experienced brief spells of weight loss each time I've dropped feeds and I didn't lose any baby weight at all in the first 10 months or so.
Without further analysis, the idea that a debate will propel the
cause of science is more
magical thinking than scientific.
There is something about a tool that
causes us to engage in a sort of
