Instead, we have a half completed
game with a small roster, an abysmal selection of stages, a boring repetitive
main mode, and no extra
modes to occupy ourselves aside from a lifeless dull
board game that nobody wants, and that you effectively have to pay a substantial amount to unlock.
Don't forget to try out time trial
mode which is unlocked when the
main game is completed, this enables you to get some bragging rights against your friends on the leader
board!
But by far the
main reason to pick up this
game comes from the head to head versus
mode, where you and up to three friends race to clear your
boards first!
The multiplayer
mode is clearly the
main one in a computerized
board game, and Fortune Street doesn't disappoint: the
game supports both local and online play, a rarity for the system.
For what it's worth Lantern Run is a fun little
mode to take your mind off of the extreme puzzles of the
main game and is great fun with enough friends, or if you're adventurous you could even try it alone, either way you'll be climbing the leader -
boards.
