Now that you have the general idea of the new kitchen plan, I thought today we would take a little tour around the rest of the main living areas (just the entry / living / dining for now) so you can see where I think doors and walls could be opened wider or removed.

We use our kitchen door as the main entry to the house.

This solution works best for less - frequently used passageways, such as pantry or laundry room doors, rather than main entries.

Today I'm going to show you around the two entries in my home — the front door main entry, and then the mudroom entry, both of which I've decked out for a festive holiday feel.
