The truth is that the decline bench press will help you achieve complete
chest development by recruiting more of the sternocostal head of the pectoralis
major msucle, or the inner pecs, which can be very hard to properly target with other exercises.
That being said, proper
chest development requires targeting all parts of your pecs, i.e. the pectoralis
major and its two heads: the sternal - costal head and the clavicular head, the pectoralis minor and the much smaller subclavius muscle.
