A second
major issue is that economists and policymakers do not have a comprehensive view
of how government programs designed to ameliorate the worst effects
of economic
inequality actually affect
inequality.
One
major fault in the espoused parallel relationships between Christian Privilege and other systems
of systemic
inequality that disproportionately impact racial minorities, women and the LGBTQ + community is that religious preference is scarcely, if ever, legal to request as a means
of legitimizing documentation for state
issued IDs, legal documents, marriage certificates, employment applications, etc..
The
issue of inequalities is
major too, as the continent is seen as the one which is most unequal.
A top - down union that fails to address broader problems rooted in class and racial
inequality and whose capitulation on
major issues (as identified in planks 1 - 4
of this document) has had a disproportionately negative effect on communities
of color and those who live in poverty.
