With an 8 - 5 schedule, and little time to bake just around the corner, this weekend I decided to belly - up to my stove and
make a batch of cookies as a thank you to those friends who have helped me during my 8 month much - needed break.
Not exact matches
We usually
make a large
batch of this flour and keep it in the refrigerator, using
as needed for nutritious raw
cookies, crusts, crumbles, and baby food.
After
making a fresh
batch of these crinkle
cookies, this time incorporating chunks
of chocolate that burst and melt away with every bite
as well
as some peppermint extract that
makes every one
of those bites refreshing, I'd say we have a new holiday tradition on our hands.
Just
made a
batch of these
cookies and flavor-wise they are
as good
as Ovenly's.
I could have just
made a
batch of chocolate chip
cookies every week and they would have been happy, but instead, I took this standing commitment
as an opportunity to try new ratios, methods, and flavors.
I expect to
make a few more
batches of these through the fall and then the holiday season — not just to give out
as gifts, but to keep around the house
as well, in the hopes that if I have them around snack on I'll be less inclined to consume my supply
of Halloween candy or holiday gifting
cookies.
In an effort to see if anyone could tell that these were indeed HEALTHIER
cookies, I brought both a vegan
batch (
made with coconut oil and a flax egg)
as well
as a regular
batch (
made with butter and an egg) to a group
of about 12 guys.
I have a few hats I need to finish crocheting
as well
as a few more
batches of cookies to
make and finish off my holiday shopping
as well.
I also
made a
batch of these delicious paleo chocolate chip
cookies as well
as a cranberry, lemon and pistachio protein cake based on this recipe from Joyous Health whom you know I love.
Or have you used a margarine (whatever was on sale) with out even looking at the percent
of vegetable oil and your
cookies didn't bake up the same
as the last
batch you
made?
I
made two
batches of pumpkin
cookies and other
cookies which will not be mentioned here
as of now because they will bring shame and sadness for the wasted ingredients.
That means
making a
batch of these Vegan Coconut Chocolate Chip
Cookies means I can have both — a gift for myself and one to be shared
as well.
They're also
made with powdered cane sugar, which means they're equally
as terrible for you (
as far
as sugar goes)
as other sugar
cookies, but I've nearly eliminated the possibility
of you turning out a
batch of rock - hard sugar
cookies.
So I «had» to
make a double
batch of these
cookies as my blender didn't want to
make a small
batch almond butter, but I am so glad I did
as they are delicious!
As a child I would spend many afternoons at her house around Christmas time
making batch after
batch of orange
cookies, peanut brittle, and a cotton candy - like creation called Divinity.
Or the
batches of cookies that
made it hot to the counter and then straight into the gaping maws
of my three brothers without a stop at the
cookie jar,
as well
as the
batches I mercifully scraped straight off the
cookie sheet and into the trash.
(If you can
make peanut butter
cookies, you can just
as easily whip up a
batch of almond butter
cookies.)

of gluten - free chocolate cake

Over the weekend, I
made two
batches of Chocolate Covered Raisin Oatmeal
Cookies, and I've now got 3
batches of these babies stashed in there
as well.
It always seems like a great idea to
make batches of holiday
cookies to give
as hostess gifts or share with my friends (or just eat by myself), but when it comes time to actually deliver the goods and
make these complicated confections my mind kind
of shuts down and I end up
making brownies from a mix or just going to Starbucks and getting a latte instead.
