I see lot of coments about how we can sign Reus «cuz he's a world class player.Yes, he is a
great player BUT did you see how mutch this season was he injuried? The period when Dortmund win some
games and comme forward in the table was the period when Reus was available, rest of the season he was injuried. This is one thing, the other think is that Klopp say he will leave Dortmund in the end of the season and looking for a new chalange.I'm pretty sure that he will leave to a big team and will take Reus after him.Sterling is exactly the same type of player
as Sanchez, just doesn't have the same experience, he's not fully developed.I think he can be a first XI player for us and I think will be
great alongside Sanchez, replacing Cazorla when he will leave.Sterling is an English player, will be
great to see him at nationat team too, and we need
as mutch
as rest of the big teams from EPL home grown players. The coments who say that we have Gnabry and Wellington
make me laugh, really?Do you want trophies?Or do you want to see more young players and waiting year after year to confirm or just see how they doesn't play anything? We are a top team, and need performance in UCL too, not just participaiting.Sterling is a young CONFIRMED player who will definetly help us.Agree that he's not fully grown but he will be a
great player.

games following a shaky start to the season.
If Ramsey is in good form, then he must start, we can replace Rosicky at half time or 50 - 55 mins... I would leave Ozil / Cazorla to Le Prof, though he might choose both, I would start Walcott, because he can
make runs in behind defences, just like in the Monaco
game, only if he can improve his finishing for that match, Sanchez should carry on the passing
game, and
as a true winger, should provide crosses to Giroud just like Waloctt, because Giroud has
great heading ability...
No, he wasn't
as dominant live

game plan, doing your homework against the guys you're facing and
making pitches they don't expect and can't do much with, a component of a «

Chelsea would do the same thing (
as much
as i hate Mourinho) he would not allow his team to become a circus just providing eye catching entertainment and
made sure he would always sure up his midfield with players that would have just enough skill to get them out of trouble
as quick
as they got into it but whose
game was more about physical endeavour and forward momentum and used the likes of Ramirez and Willian to

We need to change some players, even if they are good players to

as well.We need a Striker to, but a good one, someone like Benzema or Cavani, someome who can get at least 20 goals per season.A new DM is what we need for balance the
game, I think Vidal is the best in the world in this moment (is just my opinion), he working hard in defence and can win a
game with a long shot. This is the way I see footbal.
i do nt mind schniderlin (
as he is primarily a d / m that just has the energy levels to
make the odd forward run) he would do a
great job for us, either along side le coq protecting the back - line in some
games or
as a rotation with him.

this window has just finished i am already thinking about who we will get for the january window we might try for khedira on a really low offer
as he is free agent almost would help boost numbers in midfield in the new year
as we will no doubt need to filling the numbers about then also i will hold my hands up and say i was wrong this morning for giving wenger stick and saying welbeck is rubbish i have been out in the cold light of day and had a chance to reevaluate the situation and realized that this could be a canny shrew transfer on wenger behalf actually if wenger can turn the clock back and work his magic on welbeck and get him scoring goals and improve his
game then we could have a
great underrated signing on our hands its wengers absolute trust in him that might be what
makes him a
great player
as this is something that he never had at old mordor if anybody can
make him a world beater wenger can he loves this little pet projects improving players against the odds welbeck has the skillset to be high class player upfornt he just needs to work very hard on his finishing i think once he gets a few goals under his belt he will settle in fine and he is a team player you could put him on the left against man city to shore up that side and he will put in a
great shift without a complaint that could be his biggest asset to us or on the right whenever we need him there ithinkwenger might start himon the left against city to protect the left back against navas and i bet you if he does a
great job we will take a shine to him quickly i am hopeing he will be one of those wenger gems that he finds and polishes up to a high finish i must admit i was annoyed
as some other gunners were at not signing d / m and c / h but if wenger does win the league with this lot it will be his
greatest win yet and what might play in to our hands is the unpredictable nature of the league in the last few seasons if we get on a good run at the right time we might be hard to stop look at city they should have never lost to stoke but the result is there in black and white for all to see and i think chelsea will hit the skids after a while to just because cesc and costa are doing well now thats there main threat but teams will work out how to stop them
as the season goes on and chelsea will become predictable i think we might just do well this season after all
This is
great news for Jack, who clearly loves playing for his country, but I think it is good for the Gunners
as well, because being back in the
game with England should really help his confidence and
make sure he continues to work hard on improving his
game.
When on the pitch, we knew he will
make a difference... The defense feels secure, the attack
as well feels free, and he actuallt start those attack... Xakha doesn't he just pass and run to get a pass, not going forward or
making that pass that ma kes a difference or a goal... Useless, but
great stats, like our 70 % possession and losing
games, he is the leader of that no sense possession, passing, he does most of our passes, then runs to get it back to pass it, gets it back because he just passes and player is stock has to get it back to him... He will be a
great journalist pulling stats..
Rumours are just rumours until the boss
make it official like with Paulista for example! That being said if we have indeed started a bid for llara that is
great news... He has genuine talent and is a
great defensive minded player, he can shield the defence effectively, his passing and long range
game would suit us
as well and he has
great positional awareness... this is a player that lacks confidence and doesn't play regularly that is all and it's undermining his
game!!
While Cech is playing well and Arsenal are struggling, however, I can not see Ospina getting a chance in the Premier League, but he is likely to be called into action for the cup
games and
as the first one is away to our local rivals Tottenham, Ospina will have a
great chance to
make a name for himself again,
as he did for most of last season.
I very strongly believe that Admin will not
make a
great football manager out of himself (i hope his gender is Male) because in modern football you take every
game as they come and not fast forward to the next few
games forgetting a
game is on hand, No disrespect.
Granite Xhaka saved us last night, i'm not a
great fan of Xhaka but i thought the
game changed
as soon
as he come on, on Wilshere i have been his biggest supporter but last night he let me down badly, he
made no space for himself he was just out for the fresh air, i thought Sead had a lousy
game to even do he scored, it was a sad night for Arsenal supporters and football to watch that, there were plenty of alarms raised when we played Ostersunds FK in the first leg in the second half, AW should of known better to prepare his team and should get off his ass and shout a bit from the side line like all passionate managers do when they send a message to their players
With about 30 minutes left of the final Arsenal home
game, what had looked like being a
great day for the Gunners was going pear shaped,
as our north London rivals Tottenham had pulled a goal back away to Newcastle to
make it 2 - 1, while Arsenal had failed to capitalise on a
great early headed goal by Olivier Giroud and Aston Villa were threatening to equalise.
The same Arsene Wenger rhetoric when all is done and dusted and yet, we should look back at
games like yesterday's and say,» that was a
game that cost us dearly» because
great teams, players and managers don't
make the same errors
as much
as we do!!
This win for Arsenal over Premier League rivals Manchester United saw a
great all round performance from the Gunners, both in attack and defence and there were lots of candidates for the Man of the Match, such
as Petr Cech who
made three crucial saves, Alexis Sanchez for his two
great goals and Theo Walcott for his best
game at centre forward, but for me it was Mesut Ozil who stood out with his sublime passing, movement, vision and work rate.
Although Bayern's attackers destroyed
AS Roma in the Stadio Olimpico, goalkeeper Manuel Neuer also had to be on top form to
make a number of
great saves throughout the
game.
Personally it would be
great to see him
as a trequartista given freedom of the pitch to
make his mark on a
game.
I remember when Coq and Dench where trying to
make first team, it was Dench that yous two and allot people where calling for to play more, and then ya say its only because hes French that Coq got picked, then youd be screaming for Wenger and Coqs head
as things where not going
great, and now look what yous are trying to say — Dench is the one who got
games and Coq was always
as good
as he is now... somethings stay same — Wenger is blah blah.
Their form in the league wasn't
great either,
as they followed a 5 - 0 thumping of Aston Villa with disappointing draws with Chelsea and Everton, and were then beaten in a crucial
game with Manchester United, who won 3 - 2 at the Etihad Stadium with a last - minute winner from none other than Robin van Persie, who was indeed
making a huge difference in the title race,
as his goal put six points between league leaders United and City, giving Mancini's side a real uphill task to retain their title even before the half - way point of the season.
Time for some brutal honesty... this team,
as it stands, is in no better position to compete next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried to get rid of for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in,
as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position...
as far
as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy of our time and / or investment,
as such we should get rid of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle of the park we need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that player into the fold without any of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous for (this kind of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special players and certainly can't help
make the player in question feel good about the way their future potential employer feels about them)... in order for us to become dominant again we need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule about his lack of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper players in the final third... he was never a good defensive player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer
as a result of his presence on the pitch...
as for the rest of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal for a club of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model needs a complete overhaul... for me it's time to get rid of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just
as much time on the training table
as on the field of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we need to bring in some proven performers with no history of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls once again squarely at the feet of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to
making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand players of a similar ilk to be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that of a «selling» club... does it really
make sense that we could only
make a cheeky bid for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up for half the price he eventually went to Juve for, or that we've only paid any interest to strikers who were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish
great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore
as the
game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet of those who were well aware all along of the potential pitfalls of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
There always seems to be a double - digit seed that

Game had a

Outside of university, I have recently joined Burscough FC on loan from Salford FC for the upcoming couple of months and in my first three
games, already helped the team to their first league win of the season, which was very fulfilling for me
as it was
great to be already
making a positive impact on the team.
Bryant

We're doing very well in the premier league But doing terribly in the champions league I still think Wenger owes us a league title before he retires... And at least a semi-final at the champions league...
Great as the 3 - 0 win was, it's only one
game, and it's to soon to
make a judgment
Our next
game is away to Spurs, so it might be worth
making a few changes, but not too many
as Leicester are in
great form.
Although it will be incredibly difficult to ever match his contributions on the pitch, it's vitally important for a former club legend, like Henry, to publicly address his concerns regarding the direction of this club... regardless of those who still feel that Henry has some sort of agenda due to the backlash he received following earlier comments he
made on air regarding Arsenal, he has an intimate understanding of the
game, he knows the fans are being hosed and he feels some sense of obligation, both professionally and personally, to tell it like he sees it... much like I've continually expressed over the last couple months, this team isn't evolving under this current ownership / management team... instead we are currently experiencing a «stagnant» phase in our club's storied history... a fact that can't be hidden by simply changing the formation or bringing in one or two individuals... this team needs fundamental change in the way it conducts business both on and off the pitch or it will continue to slowly devolve into a second tier club... regardless of the euphoria surrounding our escape act on Friday evening,
as it stands, this club is more likely to be fighting for a Europa League spot for the foreseeable future than a top 4 finish... we can't hope for the failures of others to secure our place in the top 4, we need to be the manufacturers of our own success by doing whatever is necessary to evolve
as an organization... if Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke can't take the necessary steps following the debacle they manufactured last season, their removal is imperative for our future success... unfortunately, I strongly believe that either they don't know how to proceed in the present economic climate or they are unwilling to do whatever it takes to turn this ship around... just look at the current state of our squad, none of our world class players are under contract beyond this season, we have a ridiculous wage bill considering the results, we can't sell our deadwood because we've mismanaged our personnel decisions and contractual obligations, we haven't properly cultivated our younger talent and we might have become one of the worst clubs ever when it comes to way we handle our transfer business, which under Dein was one of our
greatest assets... it's time to get things right!!!

as long
as Ramsey comes back with the form he had at the beginning of last season, part of what
made him so
great was his defensive work, I think he had an average of 4.4 tackles per
game back then.
The Gunners had many shots on targets in that
game but to the gallery
as most of their shots were directed to Fabianski's hands and thus
made him looked
great on the night.

As usual Jon you make some good points but with all respect to Leeds, Villa and Forest, no way would Spurs spend the amount of time in the lower leagues [just one year] that those three have spent recently and I'm sure you remember that great Spurs side in their double year dropping their first point after 14 games to Man City and suffering their first defeat to Sheffield Wednesday by the odd goal in three on Boxing day and almost beating our 66 point record [2 points a win in those days] which stood from the glorious thirties thanks to a shock home defeat on the last day of the season by West Brom with their frightening forward line of Jones, White, Smith, Allen, and Dyson and to make things worse the following year the signing of Jimmy Greaves, and don't let anybody tell different without doubt the greatest striker the English game as ever see

Flamini filled in
as our
make shift left back during the champions league where we
made it to the final and I am sure with his experience he would be a
great option, defensive midfielders read the
game well and his distrubution is better than MERT.
