make the almond butter for the recipe I'm sharing with you today, it took 1 cup raw almonds, a quick 10 - minute roast at 325F, and then a whirl in my food processor until a creamy buttery consistency was achieved.

make it a tad more special and extra delicious by cooking the oatmeal with pure apple juice / cider, spices,
butter or coconut oil and chopped
almonds for extra rich flavor and texture.
I've
made these with peanut
butter, but you can easily swap the nut
butter and the nuts
for another variety, like cashew or
almond, if you prefer.
I added courgettes to the roasted veggies and hazelnut
butter to the dressing (someone had finished all the
almond butter and my home
made version was a tad too cinnamonny

almond butter for some of my recipes, both are super delicious!
I love spreading each slice with lots of crunchy
almond butter and a drizzle of honey — it
makes for the best breakfast or afternoon snack!
Was a pain getting it but it all got sorted in the end and I've just
made the creamiest
almond butter which was the real test
for me.
