I'm able to purchase the raw, organic Spanish almonds, but to
make almond butter with them is a really different consistency than the bought product.
That looks delicious Gabby and it seems so better suited to
make almond butter with macadamia oil than coconut oil, will try your way!
I just
made the almond butter with honey, vanilla bean and non-iodized salt.
So I just tried out
making the almond butter with the exact same Vitamix as you and it came out thick like a brick and still had whole almonds after 1 minute.
I made some almond butter with almond oil and I thought THAT was amazing - I can't waittt to try this one!

almond and i poured it on steamed broccoli as a side and it was amazing.
I love that you

butter because it's a lot creamier and milder than
almond butter or peanut
butter.
We've been playing around
with lots of variations of these recently, as we eat so many of them, so if you're enjoying these we can definitely share more — we
made some coconut and apricot ones on Friday that were a dream, and some cacao and
almond butter ones too, which were delicious!
But here we
make it a tad more special and extra delicious by cooking the oatmeal
with pure apple juice / cider, spices,
butter or coconut oil and chopped
almonds for extra rich flavor and texture.
I've
made these
with peanut
butter, but you can easily swap the nut
butter and the nuts for another variety, like cashew or
almond, if you prefer.
I have also
made butter with almonds, brazil's and cashews (the A, B, C complete protein mix)
